SMC CG1-Z Series round body air cylinder, standard type, double acting, single rod. B = basic mounting style, N = rubber cushion, bore size 20 mm, standard stroke 75 mm, Z = CG1-Z series suffix. Male rod end as standard, without rod boot, no stroke adjustment, no pivot or rod end bracket. Port thread type for the rubber cushion version: Rc. IMPORTANT: there is no leading D in the part number, so this cylinder has NO built-in magnet and is NOT auto switch capable - the magnet-equipped equivalent is the CDG1 variant. Applicable seal kit CG1N20Z-PS; rod end nut NT-02. SMC lists manufacture of the CG1-Z as discontinued from 12/2025, with the CG1-Z1 series as the replacement.

CG1BN20-75Z Applications

The CG1BN20-75Z is a general purpose round body air cylinder for straightforward push and pull duties where position sensing is not required. With a 20 mm bore and 75 mm stroke it handles pressing, feeding, ejecting, gate opening, clamping and simple transfer motions on conveyors and machine frames. Rubber cushions absorb end-of-stroke shock. Note that without a built-in magnet no auto switch can be fitted; specify a CDG1 model if switch feedback is needed.
