SMC CDU1030D Free Mount Cylinder — 10 mm bore, 30 mm stroke. SMC CDU10-30D is a CU series free mount cylinder, double acting, single rod, with a 10 mm bore and 30 mm standard stroke. The D prefix indicates a built-in magnet for auto switch mounting. Standard port thread is M5 x 0.8. Supplied without stroke adjustment and without auto switches (2 pcs. or none can be fitted). The CU series is a space-saving cylinder that can be mounted directly on multiple sides of its body, eliminating separate brackets. Standard (non made-to-order) product.

CDU10-30D Applications

The CDU10-30D offers the longest 10 mm bore stroke in this group at 30 mm, useful for small transfer, gripper feed, guide-pin insertion and product-diverting motions where a little more travel is needed but space remains tight. The free mount body bolts directly to several faces of a frame or plate, and double acting operation gives powered motion in both directions. The built-in magnet allows one or two auto switches for reliable extended and retracted position sensing.
