SMC CDU1010D Free Mount Cylinder — 10 mm bore, 10 mm stroke. SMC CDU10-10D is a CU series free mount cylinder, double acting, single rod, with a 10 mm bore and 10 mm standard stroke. The D prefix indicates a built-in magnet for auto switch mounting. Standard port thread is M5 x 0.8. Supplied without stroke adjustment and without auto switches (2 pcs. or none can be fitted). The CU series is a space-saving cylinder that can be mounted directly on multiple sides of its body, eliminating separate brackets. Standard (non made-to-order) product.

CDU10-10D Applications

The CDU10-10D is a very compact free mount cylinder for short-stroke pushing, lifting, stopping and part-clamping tasks on small assembly, electronics and packaging equipment. Because the square body can be bolted directly on several faces, it fits tight machine frames without brackets and simplifies layout. The 10 mm bore with 10 mm double acting stroke gives controlled motion in both directions, and the built-in magnet lets auto switches be added for position confirmation in automated cells.
