SMC CDQSB2010DCM Compact Air Cylinder — 20mm bore, 10mm stroke, with rubber bumper AND rod end male thread (CM) - cushioned male-rod version of the 20-10D. SMC CQS series compact cylinder, standard type, double acting, single rod. Bore 20 mm, standard stroke 10 mm. Built-in magnet (D) for auto switch mounting; mounting style B (through-hole, both ends tapped). Option CM: with rubber bumper and rod end male thread - supports rod end nut NT-02, single knuckle joint I-G02, double knuckle joint Y-G02 and knuckle pin IY-G02. Supplied without auto switch; auto switches mount on four sides for the 20-25 mm bores. CQS part numbers carry no trailing Z auto-switch groove suffix (unlike the CQ2-Z series) - confirmed on SMC's official part number decoder.

CDQSB20-10DCM Applications

The male rod end thread makes this the version to specify when the cylinder drives a knuckle joint, clevis, rod end nut or threaded linkage rather than a directly bolted pad. The rubber bumper cushions the end of stroke, reducing shock and noise on fast, light cycling in clamping, pressing, stopping and transfer duties. The 20 mm bore gives useful thrust in a low-profile square body, with built-in magnet allowing auto switch sensing on four sides.
