Bore 20 mm, standard stroke 10 mm. Built-in magnet (D) for auto switch mounting; mounting style B (through-hole, both ends tapped). Option: standard - rod end female thread, no rubber bumper. Supplied without auto switch; auto switches can be mounted on four sides for the 20-25 mm bore sizes and do not protrude from the square body. CQS part numbers carry no trailing Z auto-switch groove suffix (unlike the CQ2-Z series) - confirmed on SMC's official part number decoder.

CDQSB20-10D Applications

A short-stroke 20 mm bore actuator for compact clamping, pressing, stopping and part ejection on assembly, packaging and small material handling machines. The larger bore raises thrust over the 16 mm size while the square CQS body keeps the installation flat. Auto switches can be fitted on four sides thanks to the built-in magnet, giving flexible position feedback routing. The female rod end thread accepts tooling, pads or brackets directly for simple pusher and clamp designs.
