SMC CDQSB12-75DCM is a CQS Series Compact Cylinder, Standard Type, Double Acting, Single Rod, with a 12 mm bore and 75 mm standard stroke. The D prefix denotes a built-in magnet for auto switch mounting, B is the basic mounting style, and option CM specifies a rubber bumper together with a rod end male thread. SMC lists the rubber bumper as standard on the long stroke type. The longest stroke variant in this group, giving 75 mm of travel from a 12 mm bore compact body. Suited to pushers, transfer arms, long-reach clamping, ejection and stopper duties where a round cylinder would be too bulky. The rubber bumper is important at this stroke length because the piston accumulates more kinetic energy before reaching the end stop, so it cuts impact, noise and wear over long duty cycles. The male rod thread accepts rod end nuts, knuckle joints and floating joints for coupling into existing linkages, and the built-in magnet supports flush auto switch mounting.
