SMC CDQSB12-50DC is a CQS Series Compact Cylinder, Standard Type, Double Acting, Single Rod, with a 12 mm bore and 50 mm standard stroke. The D prefix denotes a built-in magnet for auto switch mounting, B is the basic mounting style, and option C specifies a rubber bumper, which SMC lists as standard on the long stroke type. The rod end is the standard female thread. CDQSB12-50DC Applications

A long stroke CQS cylinder for applications needing 50 mm of travel from a shallow, square compact body. Typical uses include pushers, part transfer arms, clamping, ejection and stopper mechanisms on assembly, electronics and packaging equipment. The rubber bumper absorbs end-of-stroke impact, which is important at longer strokes where the piston picks up more kinetic energy, and it reduces noise and mechanical shock over long duty cycles. The standard rod end female thread accepts tooling adaptors directly, and the built-in magnet allows flush auto switch mounting.
