SMC CDQ2B32TF20DCZ Compact Air Cylinder — 32 mm bore, 20 mm stroke, double acting, with rubber bumper. SMC CDQ2B32TF-20DCZ is a CQ2-Z series compact air cylinder with a 32 mm bore and 20 mm stroke, double acting single rod. The B mounting style is through-hole (standard) and the TF port thread type is G (BSPP), giving a G1/8 port on this bore. The leading D denotes a built-in auto switch magnet, and the Z suffix provides the auto switch mounting groove on 4 surfaces (oe32 to oe100). Body option C adds rubber bumpers at the stroke ends, raising allowable kinetic energy for oe32 from 0.15 J to 0.29 J; note that stroke length tolerance does not include the amount of bumper change. A 20 mm stroke double acting compact cylinder with rubber bumpers, used for clamping, stopping, lifting and short transfer moves on fast-cycling machinery. The bumper absorbs end-of-stroke impact and roughly doubles allowable kinetic energy at this bore, protecting the covers and extending life where the cylinder runs near the top of its speed range. The through-hole body bolts flat against a fixture plate, and the built-in magnet with four-surface auto switch groove allows flush position sensing on any face.
