SMC CDQ2B325DZ Compact Air Cylinder — 32 mm bore, 5 mm stroke, rod end female thread (standard body option). SMC CDQ2B32-5DZ is a CQ2-Z series compact air cylinder with a 32 mm bore and 5 mm stroke. Double acting, single rod, with a built-in magnet (CDQ2 prefix) so auto switches can be added on any of the 4 mounting-groove surfaces available on the ø32 body. Mounting style B is the standard through-hole type. The rod end is the standard female thread. Port thread on ø32 is Rc. Operates on air at 0.05 to 1.0 MPa with a proof pressure of 1.5 MPa, non-lube, at a piston speed of 50 to 500 mm/s. Ambient and fluid temperature range is -10 to 60 degrees C with the auto switch magnet fitted. Shipped without auto switches. Replacement seal kit CQ2B32-PS.

CDQ2B32-5DZ Applications

Used where a full-length tie-rod cylinder will not fit: clamping and fixturing on machining jigs, part hold-down on conveyors, small press and stamping feeds, gate and diverter actuation, and pick-and-place tooling. The short 5 mm stroke suits tight-clearance clamp and locate duties. The built-in magnet lets D-M9 series auto switches confirm rod position on four faces of the ø32 body, so end-of-stroke feedback can be wired into a PLC without external limit switches or added envelope.
