SMC CDQ2B3230DZ Compact Air Cylinder — 32 mm bore, 30 mm stroke, rod end FEMALE thread (standard body option; the DMZ sibling is male thread). SMC CDQ2B32-30DZ is a CQ2-Z series compact air cylinder with a 32 mm bore and 30 mm stroke. Double acting, single rod, with a built-in magnet (CDQ2 prefix) so auto switches can be added on any of the 4 mounting-groove surfaces available on the ø32 body. Mounting style B is the standard through-hole type. The rod end is the standard FEMALE thread - this is the distinguishing feature versus CDQ2B32-30DMZ, which carries the M rod end male thread option. Port thread on ø32 is Rc. Operates on air at 0.05 to 1.0 MPa with a proof pressure of 1.5 MPa, non-lube, at a piston speed of 50 to 500 mm/s. Ambient and fluid temperature range is -10 to 60 degrees C with the auto switch magnet fitted. Shipped without auto switches. Replacement seal kit CQ2B32-PS.

CDQ2B32-30DZ Applications

A mid-stroke compact cylinder for space-limited machine builds: clamping and hold-down on machining and welding fixtures, part ejection and transfer, indexing stops, gate and diverter actuation, and lift stations on conveyors. The short body saves axial length against an equivalent tie-rod cylinder. The female rod end accepts a stud or bolt pulled into the rod. The built-in magnet allows D-M9 series auto switches on four faces of the ø32 body for stroke-end feedback to a PLC.
