SMC CDQ2B2520DMZ Compact Air Cylinder — 25 mm bore, 20 mm stroke, rod end male thread (M option). SMC CDQ2B25-20DMZ is a CQ2-Z series compact air cylinder with a 25 mm bore and 20 mm stroke. Double acting, single rod, with a built-in magnet (CDQ2 prefix D) for auto switch position sensing. Mounting style B is the standard through-hole body. Body option M provides a rod end male thread instead of the standard female thread, and SMC lists the NT-03 rod end nut as the matching accessory. Auto switch mounting groove Z allows switches to be fitted on 2 sides for bores 12 to 25 mm with no switch projection. Port thread is M5 x 0.8 for the 25 mm bore. Supplied without auto switches.

CDQ2B25-20DMZ Applications

Choose the M variant when the load is attached by a nut, clevis, floating joint or knuckle rather than screwed into the rod. At 25 mm bore and 20 mm stroke it is a workhorse size for clamping fixtures, stopper and lift mechanisms, pushers and small linkage drives on packaging and assembly machines. The matching NT-03 rod end nut locks the coupling. Built-in magnet and Z groove allow flush auto switches for end position confirmation.
