SMC CDQ2B2515DZ Compact Air Cylinder — 25 mm bore, 15 mm stroke, standard rod end female thread (no body option). SMC CDQ2B25-15DZ is a CQ2-Z series compact air cylinder with a 25 mm bore and 15 mm stroke. Double acting, single rod, with a built-in magnet (CDQ2 prefix D) for auto switch position sensing. Mounting style B is the standard through-hole body. No body option letter is used, so the rod end has the standard female thread and no rubber bumper is fitted. Auto switch mounting groove Z allows switches to be fitted on 2 sides for bores 12 to 25 mm with no switch projection. Port thread is M5 x 0.8 for the 25 mm bore. Supplied without auto switches.

CDQ2B25-15DZ Applications

With a 15 mm stroke this 25 mm bore compact cylinder covers medium-short travel jobs: opening and closing small gates and diverters, lifting or lowering guides, pushing parts off a conveyor line and driving clamp arms on machining fixtures. The very short body height is the main reason to specify a CQ2 over a round-body cylinder in a crowded machine. The built-in magnet and Z auto switch groove let you add position sensing without any external bracketry.
