SMC CDQ2B2510DCZ Compact Air Cylinder — 25 mm bore, 10 mm stroke, with rubber bumper (C option). SMC CDQ2B25-10DCZ is a CQ2-Z series compact air cylinder with a 25 mm bore and 10 mm stroke. Double acting, single rod, with a built-in magnet (CDQ2 prefix D) for auto switch position sensing. Mounting style B is the standard through-hole body. Body option C adds a rubber bumper to cushion the stroke ends. Auto switch mounting groove Z allows switches to be fitted on 2 sides for bores 12 to 25 mm with no switch projection. Port thread is M5 x 0.8 for the 25 mm bore. Supplied without auto switches.

CDQ2B25-10DCZ Applications

The rubber bumper version is the one to choose when a short 10 mm stroke at 25 mm bore would otherwise slam metal-to-metal at the stroke ends. It softens end-of-stroke impact and reduces noise and shock loading in high-cycle clamping, stopper, indexing and part-ejection stations, and helps protect delicate tooling or fixtures. Through-hole mounting keeps the installed depth minimal, and the built-in magnet with Z groove supports flush auto switches for end position feedback.
