SMC CDQ2B1215DMZ Compact Air Cylinder — 12mm bore, 15mm stroke, DOUBLE ACTING with ROD END MALE THREAD (body option M), through-hole (B) mount, M5 x 0.8 port, built-in magnet. SMC CDQ2B12-15DMZ is a CQ2-Z series compact air cylinder with a 12 mm bore and 15 mm stroke. It is double acting, single rod, with a through-hole (B) mounting body. The M body option specifies a rod end male thread in place of the standard female thread, so knuckle joints, rod end nuts and clevis hardware screw straight on. Port thread is M5 x 0.8, standard on CQ2 bore sizes 12 to 25 mm. The CDQ2 prefix denotes a built-in magnet, allowing D-M9 series auto switches to be mounted directly in the grooves (2 surfaces). Operates on air at a maximum 1.0 MPa with 1.5 MPa proof pressure and a minimum operating pressure of 0.07 MPa. Supplied without cushion; allowable kinetic energy 0.022 J. Piston speed 50 to 500 mm/s, non-lube.

CDQ2B12-15DMZ Applications

Same male-threaded rod end as the 10 mm stroke model but with 15 mm of travel, for light clamping, indexing, gate and ejector duties that need a little more reach. The male thread suits coupling through knuckle joints, clevises, rod end nuts or linkages rather than bolting a tool to a female-threaded rod. The short CQ2 body fits inside jigs and tooling plates, and the built-in magnet allows D-M9 auto switches for end-of-stroke feedback in electronics assembly, packaging and small-parts handling machinery.
