SMC CDQ2B1210DZ Compact Air Cylinder — 12mm bore, 10mm stroke, DOUBLE ACTING standard (no body option, rod end female thread, no bumper), through-hole (B) mount, M5 x 0.8 port, built-in magnet. SMC CDQ2B12-10DZ is the baseline CQ2-Z series compact air cylinder with a 12 mm bore and 10 mm stroke. It is double acting, single rod, with a through-hole (B) mounting body, the standard rod end female thread and no rubber bumper. Port thread is M5 x 0.8, standard on CQ2 bore sizes 12 to 25 mm. The CDQ2 prefix denotes a built-in magnet, allowing D-M9 series auto switches to be mounted directly in the grooves (2 surfaces on 12 to 25 mm bores). Operates on air at a maximum 1.0 MPa with 1.5 MPa proof pressure and a minimum operating pressure of 0.07 MPa. CDQ2B12-10DZ Applications

The standard configuration of the miniature CQ2, used across benchtop and inline automation for light clamping, gate opening, part ejection, stopping and small pick-and-place motions. Its very short body fits inside jigs, fixtures and tooling plates where a round-body cylinder would not, and the through-hole mount bolts it straight through a plate. The rod end female thread accepts a bolt-on tool or bracket directly, and the built-in magnet lets D-M9 auto switches confirm rod position for PLC sequencing.
