The leading D denotes a built-in magnet, making the cylinder auto switch capable; the trailing Z denotes the auto switch mounting groove (2 surfaces on bore sizes 12 to 25 mm). Body option M = rod end male thread, which distinguishes this DMZ variant from the plain DZ (rod end female thread) cylinders in the same bore family. The CDQ2A25-50DMZ combines the largest stroke of the 25 mm bore group with a male-threaded rod end, so knuckle joints, floating joints, clevises and rod end nuts thread on directly. That makes it the right pick for linkage-driven motion - swing arms, tilting chutes, transfer pushers, guard and door actuation - where the load is not bolted flush to the rod face. The built-in magnet supports auto switch position sensing in the side groove, and the both-ends-tapped body keeps installed depth to a minimum.
