SMC CDQ2A25-10DZ is a CQ2-Z series compact air cylinder, standard type, double acting, single rod. Bore size 25 mm with a 10 mm standard stroke - the shortest stroke in this batch. Mounting style A = both ends tapped. The leading D denotes a built-in magnet, making the cylinder auto switch capable; the trailing Z denotes the auto switch mounting groove (2 surfaces on bore sizes 12 to 25 mm). Body option is blank = standard, rod end female thread. Port thread is the M thread type (M5 x 0.8) used on bores 12 to 25 mm. Supplied without auto switches fitted.

CDQ2A25-10DZ Applications

With only 10 mm of travel behind a 25 mm bore, the CDQ2A25-10DZ is built for high-force, short-motion work: toggle and edge clamping, die and mould locking, blocking or dead-stop duty, and press-fit or stamping assists where a lot of thrust must be delivered in a very small package. The both-ends-tapped body allows mounting from either face directly onto a fixture plate, and the built-in magnet supports auto switch feedback in the side groove to confirm clamped and unclamped states.
