SMC CDQ2A2050DMZ (CDQ2A20-50DMZ) - Compact Air Cylinder, 20mm Bore, 50mm Stroke
SMC CDQ2A2050DMZ Compact Air Cylinder — 20mm bore, 50mm stroke, double acting, standard type with rod end MALE thread (DMZ). SMC CDQ2A20-50DMZ is a CQ2-Z series compact air cylinder, standard type, double acting, single rod. Bore size 20 mm with a 50 mm standard stroke. Mounting style A = both ends tapped. The leading D denotes a built-in magnet, making the cylinder auto switch capable; the trailing Z denotes the auto switch mounting groove (2 surfaces on bore sizes 12 to 25 mm). Body option M = rod end male thread, which distinguishes this DMZ variant from the standard DZ (rod end female thread) sibling of the same bore and stroke. Port thread is the M thread type (M5 x 0.8) used on bores 12 to 25 mm. Supplied without auto switches fitted.

CDQ2A20-50DMZ Applications
The CDQ2A20-50DMZ pairs a 50 mm working stroke with a male-threaded rod end, so knuckle joints, floating joints, rod end nuts and clevis linkages screw straight on without an adapter. That makes it a natural fit for transfer arms, indexing pushers, lift-and-locate fixtures and door or guard actuation where the load is coupled through a linkage rather than bolted to the rod face. The built-in magnet supports auto switch position sensing in the side groove, and both-ends-tapped mounting keeps the installed envelope compact.
