A very short-travel 16 mm bore compact cylinder for clamping, locking, pin-indexing and small ejector duties where only 10 mm of movement is required and the actuator must sit inside a shallow fixture plate. Both-ends-tapped mounting means it can be screwed down from either cover face, which is often the deciding factor in dense tooling. Supplied without a bumper, so keep piston speeds and moving mass moderate or add speed controllers at the ports. The built-in magnet allows D-M9 series auto switches in the body groove for clamp-confirmation signals to the PLC.
