SMC CDM2L32300Z Air Cylinder — 32 mm bore, 300 mm stroke, axial foot mount (L) variant, rubber bumper, built-in magnet. SMC CDM2L32-300Z is a CM2-Z series standard round-body air cylinder, double acting, single rod, with a 32 mm bore and a long 300 mm stroke. The leading D denotes a built-in magnet for auto switch mounting and L is the axial foot mounting style, supplied with two foot brackets and one mounting nut (shipped with the product but not assembled). No cushion letter follows the stroke, so the standard rubber bumper is fitted. Rod end is the standard male thread (M10 x 1.25) and the piston rod diameter is 12 mm. Port size is Rc 1/8. CDM2L32-300Z Applications

The 300 mm stroke makes this the right pick for pusher, gate, feeder and long-travel transfer applications where the load must be moved a substantial distance. The axial foot mounting bolts the cylinder body flat to a base or machine bed and takes the reaction load along the cylinder axis, which is preferable to basic mounting on long strokes. The built-in magnet supports D-M9 series auto switches for stroke-end feedback. On long strokes check the rod for buckling and consider an external guide if side loads are present.
