SMC CDM2BZ3250Z Air Cylinder — 32 mm bore, 50 mm stroke, boss-cut basic mount (BZ) variant, rubber bumper, built-in magnet. SMC CDM2BZ32-50Z is a CM2-Z series standard round-body air cylinder, double acting, single rod, with a 32 mm bore and 50 mm stroke. The leading D denotes a built-in magnet for auto switch mounting. The mounting code is BZ, which the official CM2-Z How to Order defines as Boss-cut/Basic: the same basic mounting style as B but with the rod-side boss machined off, giving a shorter overall length and a flat rod-cover face. No cushion letter follows the stroke, so the standard rubber bumper is fitted. Rod end is the standard male thread (M10 x 1.25) and the piston rod diameter is 12 mm. Port size is Rc 1/8. Choose the boss-cut BZ mounting when panel or fixture clearance is tight and the standard rod-cover boss of the plain B version would collide with the mating surface, or when the machine design calls for the cylinder face to sit flush. Functionally identical to the basic CDM2B32-50Z otherwise, this 32 mm bore, 50 mm stroke actuator is well suited to clamping, ejecting, indexing and short-travel transfer duties. The built-in magnet allows D-M9 series auto switches to be strapped onto the tube for end-of-stroke confirmation.
