SMC CDG1BN3225Z Round Body Air Cylinder — 32 mm bore, 25 mm stroke. SMC CDG1BN32-25Z is a CG1-Z series round body air cylinder, double acting with a single rod, 32 mm bore and 25 mm stroke. The CDG1 prefix denotes the built-in magnet version for auto switch mounting; B is the basic mounting style and N specifies the rubber bumper cushion. It operates on air with a maximum operating pressure of 1.0 MPa, a minimum operating pressure of 0.05 MPa and a proof pressure of 1.5 MPa. Piston speed range is 50 to 1000 mm/s and lubrication is not required (non-lube). Ambient and fluid temperature is -10 to 70 C without an auto switch and -10 to 60 C with an auto switch. CDG1BN32-25Z Applications

A short stroke round body cylinder for tight installations where only a small amount of travel is needed, such as clamping, locating pins, small gates, blocking devices and fixture actuation on jigs and assembly cells. The 32 mm bore still delivers useful thrust at typical 0.5 MPa line pressure while the 25 mm stroke keeps the overall length short. Auto switches mount directly on the barrel thanks to the built-in magnet, giving clamp-closed and clamp-open confirmation to the PLC.
