SMC CDG1BN2525Z Round Body Air Cylinder — 25mm Bore, 25mm Stroke. SMC CDG1BN25-25Z is a CG1-Z series round body air cylinder with a 25 mm bore and 25 mm stroke. It is a double acting, single rod actuator with a built-in magnet (CDG1 prefix) so that SMC auto switches can be mounted directly on the round tube. The 'B' code denotes the basic mounting style and the 'N' code denotes rubber bumper cushioning. The impact-extruded aluminium tube and rod cover are hard anodised, and the piston rod is stainless steel on the magnet-equipped 20 mm and 25 mm bore sizes. It runs on air, requires no lubrication (non-lube), operates from 0.05 MPa up to a maximum of 1.0 MPa with a 1.5 MPa proof pressure, and uses Rc 1/8 ports. Rod end is male thread M10 x 1.25 with a 10 mm diameter piston rod. Ambient and fluid temperature range is -10 to 70 C without an auto switch, or -10 to 60 C with an auto switch fitted.

CDG1BN25-25Z Applications

A short-stroke 25 mm bore CG1 cylinder built for clamping, locating, stamping, blocking and short indexing moves where only 25 mm of travel is required but a solid thrust is needed. The built-in magnet takes SMC auto switches directly on the round tube for position confirmation, and the rubber bumper protects the end covers during rapid cycling. Basic mounting with a male M10 rod end makes it easy to integrate into fixtures and small automation cells.
