CDG1BA32-100Z Applications

The CG1 round body cylinder is SMC's general-purpose repairable actuator for machine frames, and the air cushion version is chosen when the load is heavy or fast enough that a rubber bumper would slam at the stroke ends. Cushion needles at both covers let the deceleration be tuned on site, which protects the rod, the mounting and the workpiece. Typical duties are pushing, clamping, lifting and stopping on conveyors, assembly stations and packaging machines, with auto switches on the built-in magnet for end-of-stroke feedback.
