The air cushion decelerates the piston at both ends, protecting the covers and reducing noise on high-cycle machines. The built-in magnet with band-mounted auto switches confirms extended and retracted positions to the PLC. The stainless barrel and rod give good corrosion resistance for washdown-adjacent packaging and food handling equipment.
