SMC C(D)85 series ISO 6432 mini air cylinder, double acting, single rod, with built-in magnet (D) for auto switch use. Basic 'N' mounting (integral clevis) head cover. Bore 16 mm, stroke 50 mm, piston rod diameter 6 mm, rod end thread M6 x 1, port size M5 x 0.8. Rubber bumper cushioning (standard, no 'C' air-cushion suffix). Auto switch mounting style A = rail mounting (the official C85 how-to-order lists A: Rail mounting and B: Band mounting); auto switches are ordered separately. Proof pressure 1.5 MPa, maximum operating pressure 1.0 MPa, piston speed 50 to 1500 mm/s, ambient and fluid temperature -20 to 80 C (-10 to 60 C with built-in magnet). CD85N16-50-A Applications

General-purpose ISO 6432 actuator for pushing, clamping, lifting and ejecting light loads on compact machines. The rail-mounting auto switch style (A) lets switches be slid and clamped anywhere along the cylinder body rail, giving finer position adjustment and a tidier install than band mounting where several switches or frequent re-setting are needed. Well suited to packaging, assembly, test and small handling equipment running at moderate speed with the standard rubber bumper.
