SMC CD85N1615B Mini Air Cylinder — 16 mm bore, 15 mm stroke, double acting, rubber bumper (no air cushion), band-mount auto switch. SMC CD85N16-15-B is a C85 series ISO 6432 round-body mini air cylinder with a 16 mm bore and 15 mm stroke. It is double acting, single rod, with a basic (integral clevis) mounting and a built-in magnet (D) so band-mounted auto switches (B) can be fitted. Cushioning is by rubber bumper (no C suffix), with an allowable kinetic energy of 0.09 J. The cylinder runs on air at a maximum operating pressure of 1.0 MPa (proof pressure 1.5 MPa), over a piston speed range of 50 to 1500 mm/s. Ambient and fluid temperature is -20 to 80 degC, restricted to -10 to 60 degC for the built-in magnet version. Piston rod diameter is 6 mm with an M6 x 1 rod thread and M5 x 0.8 ports. Lubrication is not required. The 15 mm stroke is outside the C85 standard stroke list (10, 25, 40, 50, 80, 100, 125, 160, 200 mm for 16 mm bore) and is supplied as an on-request stroke. Basic weight for the 16 mm bore is 109 g plus 7.2 g per 10 mm of stroke. Conforms to ISO 6432 and CETOP RP52P.
