Auto switch mounting bracket assembly, BJ2 series, nylon bracket body, used to attach and position band-mounted auto switches on SMC double-acting pneumatic cylinders. Note: nylon material is not suitable where alcohol, chloroform, methylamines, hydrochloric acid or sulfuric acid may contact it. A stainless-fastener variant (BJ2-016S) is available.

BJ2-016 Applications

Accessory bracket assembly for mounting auto switches (magnetic reed/solid-state position sensors) onto SMC double-acting pneumatic cylinders. It holds and positions the switch band around the cylinder body so switch position can be set for end-of-stroke or intermediate detection. The bracket body is nylon; a stainless-fastener version (BJ2-016S) is offered for harsher environments. Used across general factory automation where cylinder position sensing is required.
