AN10-N01 Applications

The AN10-N01 is the NPT-threaded version of SMC's compact resin AN10 silencer, giving an NPT 1/8 male thread for North American style ports. It cuts exhaust air noise by about 30 dB(A) with a 10 mm2 effective area and recommended flow of 0.8 m3/min or less, matching small solenoid valves. The sintered resin sound-absorbing body attenuates venting noise while keeping back pressure low. Pick a silencer whose sonic conductance exceeds the valve, hand-tighten the resin body, and replace it if exhaust speed falls off from clogging. Rated to 1.0 MPa inlet pressure.
