The SMC 56IS1001S6L is an ATEX Category 3 certified pressure switch that gives a simple electrical signal when compressed-air pressure crosses its set point, for use in classified potentially explosive atmospheres. It is suited to confirming clamp or chuck pressure before a machine cycle starts, interlocking equipment against loss of air supply, and warning of a blocked filter in solvent, paint and dust-laden areas.
